I am currently on my Day 4 of VLCD Phase hcg diet and I am about to eat someone. My stomach grumbles so hard even my husband can hear it so I know I am not imagining things. Is this normal? Have anyone felt such issues while on low cal diet?
It is common for anyone on a low-calorie diet to have hunger pangs. Besides keeping yourself busy, you have two options:
1. Spread the dosage of the HCG drops to 4-5 times a day. Do not increase the dosage just spread the existing dose in such a way that you have it on different schedules. This might help in reducing the appetite. Increasing the dose will lead to more hunger.
2. If you are living an active lifestyle, then probably 500 calories may not be quite enough. You can try increasing the calorie intake up to 1500 calories a day. Note that it might extend your weight loss period even though you will lose weight.
