Today is my day 8 of the VLCD hcg diet. My weight at the start was 153 lbs for the first 4 days but then I started getting really hungry plus my energy levels had gone down. I increased my dosage to 150 IU (I was initially taking 125IU) and increased the dosage to 175 IU today. Since I was suggested to play with the dosage I changed my dosages back and forth which made me cheat!!!
i gained 1.2 lbs from this small little cheat.
1. When will my hunger go away?
2. Do I need to skip taking a shot?
3. Can messing with the dosage have such an impact on weight?
Well, it’s a bit complicated to answer this question because so far I never had such kind of experiences with the HCG diet. From my point of view, it’s mandatory that you never skip the HCG shots and equally take them in appropriate amounts (not too high not low). Alternatively, don’t try to cheat yourselves while following the diet. Instead stick firmly to the HCG diet schedule. Otherwise, you will gain weight instead of losing them… 🙂
