How and when Sharon decided to go for this HCG program?
Before starting with this HCG program Sharon went through all kinds of diets like weight watchers, metabolic, Nutra system and much more. But, everything failed to offer her the desired results. She says, they never taught her – how to cook and eat the foods, instead they kept on adding weight to her body. This used to irritate her and often remain frustrated. Even, sometimes she used to cry after looking herself in the mirror.
Equally, she never used to go outside for shopping at the clothing stores. Instead, Sharon used to purchase them online… Finally, after a long search – she came to know about the HCG diet (from her daughter’s friend). The very next day she ordered the HCG kit (HCG triumph 26, 40 drops). But, in the initial stages, she was not ready to go with this. Sharon used to think – “what if it couldn’t offer me the needed results, I couldn’t suffer from the same disappointment again and again.” So, when the bottle arrived, it sat on a shelf of her living room for a few months.
Then, on May 12, 2011, Sharon went for a one day tour with her family and friends to Disney World. Here the situation became worst for her. Her daughter took her some pictures in the restaurant and posted it on the facebook page. Actually, the daughter’s intention was not to hurt her mother. But Sharon felt quite embarrassed at this stage. However, this time she decided to go for a try and began her HCG schedule on June 1, 2011…
According to Sharon, on the initial stage of HCG, she was on tight 24 sizes. But, later after finishing with the HCG schedule she successfully lost around 82 pounds of weight. She got many applause from her friends – who were surprised with her new look. They all were quite eager to know her secret. Phase 2 recipes
HCG approved phase 2 – Lemon Dill Fish
- 100 grams of any kind of white fish
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon apple cider or vinegar
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth or water
- 1 teaspoon minced onion
- 1 clove garlic crushed and minced
- Salt and black pepper, according to the taste
In the first step, saute the fish with lemon juice, vinegar, and vegetable broth. Then add garlic, onion and fresh dill to them. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes or until the fish gets completely cooked. Finally, garnish them with the lemon wedges.
HCG approved phase 2 – Sweet Strawberry soup
- 6 to 7 medium strawberries
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Dash of cinnamon
- 1/4 cup of water vanilla liquid stevia or powdered vanilla
First, puree the strawberries with lemon juice, spices, water, and milk. After this, heat the strawberry mixture in a small saucepan for 3 to 5 minutes. Then serve hot or chilled with a garnish of mint.
Phase 3 recipes
HCG approved phase 3 – Snickerdoodles
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 1/2 c almond flour
- 1 T stevia
- 1/2 t vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1/4 t baking soda
- 1/4 t cream of tartar
Mix all these ingredients together then cover and refrigerate for 1 hour. In the second step, roll these balls into the mixture of 2 t stevia and 1 t cinnamon. Next, bake them in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
HCG approved phase 3 – Alfredo sauce
First, in a saucepan, whisk 2 t garlic powder and 8 oz cream cheese. Adding small amounts at a time, whisk in 2 C milk. In the next process, stir in a 6 oz grated Parmesan cheese and pepper to taste. Bacon bits can be added if possible.
